Other sorting options
Select from the list.

Non-reimbursable products
Brings up a list of products that are not reimbursable under the Health Insurance Act. This is either because no application has been made to establish reimbursability and a reasonable wholesale price for the product, the application has been turned down, or the pharmaceutical company concerned has withdrawn the product from the reimbursement system in order to price it freely.

All reimbursable products
Brings up a list of all products covered by the reimbursement system, including both basic and special reimbursement products.

Basic-reimbursement products only
Brings up a list of products covered by the basic reimbursement. The reimbursement is equal to 35 % of the price or reference price. This includes the medicines and clinical nutrients for which a basic reimbursement is available when used in the treatment of certain diseases, as well as the emollients that are reimbursable when used for chronic skin disorders.

All medicines in the special reimbursement categories
Brings up a list of medicinal products covered by the lower or higher special reimbursement when used in the treatment of certain diseases. Reimbursements are provided to clients who have been granted eligibility for special reimbursements. In the case of certain medicines, a special note on the prescription from the prescriber is required to qualify for a special reimbursement. The reimbursement number is printed on the client's Kela card. If eligibility for special reimbursements has not been granted, a basic reimbursement is usually available for the product (with the exception of the medicines with limited reimbursability for certain diagnoses).

Medicines in the lower special reimbursement category
Brings up a list of products included in the lower special reimbursement category. The reimbursement is equal to 65 % of the price or reference price. Reimbursements are provided to clients who have been granted eligibility for special reimbursements. The reimbursement number is printed on the client's Kela card.

Medicines in the higher special reimbursement category
Brings up a list of products included in the higher special reimbursement category. The reimbursement is equal to 100 percent of the price or the reference price of the medicinal product after a €3 copayment applicable to each product. Reimbursements are provided to clients who have been granted special reimbursement eligibility. The reimbursement number is printed on the client's Kela card.

Medicines with limited basic reimbursability for certain diagnoses
Brings up a list of products for which a basic reimbursement is available when prescribed for certain diagnoses listed in the decision by the Pharmaceuticals Pricing Board. Reimbursements are provided to clients who have been granted eligibility for basic reimbursements. The reimbursement number is printed on the client's Kela card. In some cases reimbursements are also provided based on the prescribing prescriber's indication on the prescription form.

Medicines with limited reimbursability on the basis of a special indication on the prescription
Brings up a list of products that are reimbursed on the basis of an indication made on the prescription by the prescriber. Depending on the product, they are reimbursed at the basic or special reimbursement rate. A reimbursement at the special reimbursement rate is provided on the basis of the prescriber's indication on the prescription to customers who have been granted the right to special reimbursements.
